That’s why our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course aims at raising capable yogis who can show others the way to yogic living and satvik life.

What is the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course?
This training course is a comprehensive combination of theoretical and practical teaching of Yoga. It’s a 26-day long basic training course, starting on the 1st of each month, certifying the aspiring yogis to further teach these techniques and philosophy to normal healthy adults and school-going children, bringing well-being and rejuvenation.

What does the curriculum offer?
The course dives deeper into the ancient history, yoga sutras, philosophies and techniques behind pioneering yoga practices. The course focuses on Asanas, Pranayama and Kriyas and their benefits, limitations and contradictions- with a practical approach towards lesson planning and methodology.

Since Yoga is a wholesome body and mind experience, aspirants are also taught the essentials of Anatomy and Physiology, yoga hygiene and diet. They are not just made capable yogis but also skilled teachers for effective communication. Additionally, the course concentrates on public speaking as well as teaching skills.

What about course accreditation?
We believe in authenticity, more so because Yoga is a practice of mental and physical wellbeing. Yoga Institute is the first to be accredited by the Government of India- Ministry of AYUSH after the AYUSH scheme was launched.

Our aspirants are eligible to appear for the YCB (Yoga Certification Board) level 1 certification, set up by the Ministry of AYUSH, on successfully completing the course, followed by a ceremony.
